My approach to your photography session is to capture each genuine moment as it unfolds, providing candid and natural shots. The main goal for your session is to relax, be yourself, and have fun!
Here’s what to expect once you have booked your session:

The Planning Process:
Once you have chosen and reserved your date, we will plan a consultation to discuss the details for your photography session. We can do this by meeting in person, over the phone, or email, it’s your preference. During the consultation, we’ll enjoy getting to know each other, discuss your ideas, locations, and any other little details you would like to incorporate into your session (props, what to wear, etc.).
Your Photography Session:
My sessions typically last about an hour, but I don’t have a limit on how long I will photograph, because I feel that taking the time to capture memories is more important than watching the clock.
From the moment we begin to the moment we end, it’s all about being in the moment and having fun!
When it comes to photographing young children, I’m a mother of two kids (one of them being a toddler), and am very patient and understanding that your child might need some time to warm up to the camera and may even need a few breaks in between. With that being said, please do not stress if your child is shy or fussy, because when you stress, they pick up on it and it can make for an unsuccessful photography session. I have found that what works best for young children is to bring their favorite toys, books, etc., to the photography session. My son loves it when I sing certain songs to him and will start laughing no matter how upset he is, so keep those things in mind for the day of your shoot.
Post Session Details:
Once we’ve finished your session, I will post a sneak peek (with your permission) of some of my favorite pictures, within 48 hours of the shoot. The turnaround time for your pictures is 2 to 3 weeks (especially during the busy fall season). For special events, the turnaround time is up to 4 weeks.
F.A.Q.
Am I allowed to bring my family pet(s)?
Absolutely! I’m a huge animal lover & they’re always welcome!
What happens if my session is outside & it’s cloudy or raining?
Since the weather in GA can be very unpredictable, I tend to wait until the evening before or morning of the session to see if there is an overcast or rain prediction. If it’s cloudy, you always have the option to reschedule for the next available date that works best for you. Of course if it’s raining, the session will definitely be rescheduled.
The turnaround time for pictures is 2 to 3 weeks, but I need them sooner. Can I rush them?
Yes, you are more than welcome to request a rush on your pictures. Since I take the time to go through each picture individually to ensure quality edits, there will be a rush fee required in advance.
Will you travel?
Depending on the situation and where, yes. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing a family’s portrait session on the beautiful Gulf Coast. I love to travel and locations that offer a beautiful backdrop can be hard to say no to. There will be a travel fee, but since every session is different, it will be based upon that event’s unique needs.
